Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that it will not be submitted elsewhere unless it has been rejected by the editors of Applicationes Mathematicae. On the proof stage, the author will be asked to sign the copyright transfer agreement.
Manuscripts should be typed on one side only, with double or triple spacing and wide margins, and submitted in duplicate, including the original typewritten copy. An abstract of not more than 200 words, the 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification and a list of key words and phrases are required.
Formulas should be typewritten. Number only those that are referred to later.
Figures must be prepared in a form suitable for direct reproduction. Sending EPS, PCX, TIF or CorelDraw files will be most helpful. The author should indicate on the margin of the manuscript where figures are to be inserted.
References should be arranged in alphabetical order, typed with double spacing, and styled and punctuated according to the following examples:
| [6] | D. Beck, Some remarks on J(X), in: Algebra and Analysis, E. Brook (ed.), Lecture Notes in Math. 867, Springer, Berlin, 1974, 115--124. |
| [7] | A. James and R. Hill, An index formula for Fredholm operators, J. Differential Equations 15 (1976), 197--211. |
| [8] | C. Moore, Introduction to Algebraic Topology, Vol. 2, Progr. Math. 54, {Birkhäuser, Basel, 1978. |
| [9] | A. S. Novikov, An existence theorem for planar graphs, preprint, Moscow University, 1980 (in Russian). |
Other acceptable styles (if used consistently throughout the paper) are:
| [JH] | A. James and R. Hill, An index formula for Fredholm operators, J. Differential Equations 15 (1976), 197--211. |
Or:
A. James and R. Hill (1976), An index formula for Fredholm operators, J. Differential Equations 15, 197-211.
The author's affiliation (including the e-mail address) should be given at the end of the manuscript.
Authors receive only page proofs (one copy). If the proofs are not returned promptly, the paper will be printed in a later issue. Please inform us about any change of address.
Authors receive 25 reprints free of charge. Additional reprints can be ordered.
The publisher strongly encourages submission of manuscripts written in TeX. On acceptance of the paper, authors will be asked to transmit the file by electronic mail to email.
Recommended format of manuscripts: 12-point type (including references), text width 13.5 cm.
Papers in English should be sent in 2 copies to one of the Editors:
