INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that it will not be submitted elsewhere unless it has been rejected by the editors of Annales Polonici Mathematici. All the papers submitted will be carefully refereed. On the proof stage, the author will be asked to sign the copyright transfer agreement

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically, by sending a PDF or PS file to one of the members of the Editorial Board listed below, who, in the judgement of the author, is most closely concerned with the subject-matter of the paper:

  1. Marek Jarnicki (complex analysis); email
  2. Wiesław Pawłucki (algebraic and analytic geometry, singularity theory); email
  3. Peter Pflug (complex analysis - several variables); email
  4. Wiesław Pleśniak (approximation theory, real and complex analysis); email
  5. Józef Siciak (complex analysis); email
  6. Roman Srzednicki (dynamical systems, ordinary differential equations); email
  7. Bolesław Szafirski (partial differential equations); email
  8. Hans-Otto Walther (dynamical systems and functional differential equations); email
  9. Wojciech Zajączkowski (partial differential equations, fluid mechanics); email

If none of the above-mentioned Editors seems suitable, the paper may be sent to the Secretary at email. On acceptance of the paper, the authors will also be asked to transmit the source file.

The publisher strongly encourages submission of manuscripts written in TeX.

Recommended format of manuscripts: 12-point type (including references), text width 13.5 cm.

An abstract of not more than 200 words, the AMS Mathematics Subject Classification and a list of key words and phrases are required.

Figures must be prepared in a form suitable for direct reproduction. Digital artwork in EPS format is preferred. The use of very thin lines should be avoided.

References should be arranged in alphabetical order and styled according to the examples given below. Abbreviations of journal names should follow Mathematical Reviews.

Authors' affiliation should be given at the end of the manuscript.

PDF proofs will be e-mailed to the corresponding author. If the author's corrections are not received promptly, the article will be printed in a later issue.

25 free offprints of the article will be sent to the corresponding author. Additional offprints can be ordered when sending the proof corrections.
