Submission of a paper to Fundamenta Mathematicae implies that the work described therein has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that it will not be submitted elsewhere unless it has been rejected by the editors of Fundamenta Mathematicae. On the proof stage, the author will be asked to sign the copyright transfer agreement.

The publisher strongly encourages preparing the manuscript in any version of TeX. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically, by sending a PDF file and TeX file.

Recommended format of manuscripts: 12-point type (including references), text width 13.5 cm.

An abstract (in English) of not more than 200 words, the AMS Mathematics Subject Classification and a list of key words and phrases are required.

Figures must be prepared in a form suitable for direct reproduction. Digital artwork in EPS format is preferred. The use of very thin lines should be avoided.

References should be arranged in alphabetical order and styled according to the examples given below. Abbreviations of journal names should follow Mathematical Reviews.

Complete postal addresses of all authors should be given at the end of the manuscript.

PDF proofs will be e-mailed to the corresponding author. If the author's corrections are not received promptly, the article will be printed in a later issue.

25 free offprints of the article will be sent to the corresponding author. Additional offprints can be ordered when sending the proof corrections.
